Key Features of a Guardian Loan
Guardian provides loans that have been specifically designed to allow parties who are involved in matrimonial and de facto matter to finance their legal fees until a settlement can be finalised.
- Loan amounts typically range from $20,000 - $100,000 but not to exceed 20% of the anticipated settlement. (Exceptions may apply at the discretion of Guardian).
- Interest is capitalised for the term of the loan.
- No regular repayments are required from the borrower.
- Principal and interest are payable to Guardian in one payment once the matter is finalised or within 12 months of the advance, whichever first occurs.
- No redemption penalties apply to early full repayment of the loan.
